This role sits within a growing Tax Compliance team, supporting private individuals and partnerships while playing a key part in the transition to Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self‑Assessment (MTD ITSA). Job Responsibility

  • Preparing and submitting personal and partnership tax returns
  • Supporting clients with tax queries and compliance requirements
  • Ensuring deadlines are met accurately and efficiently
  • Assisting clients with the transition to MTD ITSA and digital reporting
  • Building strong, professional relationships with clients
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the practice
  • Maintaining high standards of accuracy, organisation, and confidentiality
  • Contributing positively to team culture and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a personal tax role within an accountancy firm or similar environment
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with a client‑focused approach
  • Experience using Excel
  • Experience with Xero is beneficial (but not essential)
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and progress your career in tax

  • Permanent, full‑time role (36.5 hours per week)
