BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Tax Analyst. The main responsibilities of this role include Lead tax department activities to ensure that the companies within the PDS San Luis Potosí group and Anderson PDS comply with all tax requirements, thereby avoiding deviations and additional costs to the organization. Complete monthly, annual, and quarterly reports in the OneSource system for BorgWarner’s legal entities. Analyze and develop tax strategies that help the company reduce fiscal risks and impacts within the legal framework. Act as the primary contact between external advisors for the U.S. entity and local users, as well as request information or analyses that support the verification of proper compliance with U.S. tax obligations.
Job Responsibility:
Lead tax department activities to ensure that the companies within the PDS San Luis Potosí group and Anderson PDS comply with all tax requirements
Complete monthly, annual, and quarterly reports in the OneSource system for BorgWarner’s legal entities
Analyze and develop tax strategies that help the company reduce fiscal risks and impacts within the legal framework
Act as the primary contact between external advisors for the U.S. entity and local users
Prepare and develop working papers to determine monthly tax payments, tax adjustment calculations, annual tax returns, informative filings, VAT refund requests, etc.
Reconcile tax-related accounting accounts
Review, assess, and implement tax changes applicable to the companies within the group
Prepare reports for Corporate or external advisors on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis using the required systems
Support statutory, governmental, and other tax‑related audits
Coordinate with external advisors for the BorgWarner PDS Anderson entity to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax obligations in the United States
Comply with the Responsibilities and Authorities Matrix of the Environmental Management System
Adhere to the Global Safety Program (GSSF)
Active participation in the Annual Year-End Inventory
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in public Accountant
2 years or more in a similar position
Knowledge of monthly and annual tax calculations (ISR, VAT, ISN, deferred ISR)
Preparation of informative filings (DIOT, DIEMSE, DIM, etc.)
Preparation for a tax refund and compensation requests
Use of SAT and State Finance digital platforms
Knowledge of Electronic Accounting and Electronic Invoicing
Knowledge of tax laws and updates
Tax-related procedures and dealings with tax authorities
