Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a Tax Analyst.

Job Responsibility

  • Preparation of federal 1120F and state tax returns, along with related extensions and estimated tax payments
  • Working on preparation and analysis of financial statement and reports for tax return and quarterly income tax provision preparation
  • Preparation of Forms 5472
  • Working with the Senior Tax Analyst and Tax Manager in the preparation of income tax provisions and tax return compliance
  • Compiling tax group information in the preparation of tax workpapers and calculation of book to tax differences which may include written documentation to support filing positions as needed
  • Assist with restructuring / realignment of businesses as needed as it would impact the tax compliance group filing obligations

Requirements

  • Min. 2-5 years in Tax
  • Four-year degree required in accounting/finance and/or tax
  • Excellent operating knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with Tax Provision (ASC 740)

Nice to have

  • Experience with Thomson OneSource preferred
  • Research via Checkpoint / BNA preferred
  • Big Four experience a plus
