Job Description:

The Tax Analyst will support a broad range of corporate tax activities, including income tax compliance, provision support, research, and audit coordination. This role offers hands-on experience across federal, state, and local tax matters while partnering cross-functionally within a dynamic, high-performing environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual and quarterly income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740
  • Support federal, state, and local income tax compliance, including preparation of workpapers, apportionment, and fixed asset analyses
  • Utilize tax software to manage data imports, account mapping, and return preparation
  • Prepare filings related to non-income taxes, including sales/use, property, and other indirect taxes
  • Calculate estimated tax payments and extensions to ensure timely compliance
  • Assist with responses to tax audits and notices from governmental authorities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather data and support tax-related initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve efficiency within the tax function

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA required
  • 2+ years of relevant tax experience, including exposure to consolidated returns
  • Experience with tax compliance and research tools
  • Strong understanding of U.S. tax principles and a commitment to staying current on regulatory changes
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact across all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational capabilities

Nice to have:

  • Master’s degree in Taxation
  • Public accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional firm)
