The successful candidate will expand their tax business and expertise, enabling success on both an individual and company level. The position will report to a Sr. Tax Manager/Tax Manager.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare quarterly estimated tax payments and annual extensions
Prepare federal tax return for all U.S. entities
maintain and update tax software mappings for trial balance accounts
prepare book-to-tax difference workpapers and other return documentation
conduct tax research on federal tax matters
prepare tax forms including required elections and statements
e-file extension and tax return using Onesource tax software
prepare provision to return true-up workpapers and journal entries
Assisting with IRS audit documentation requests
Coordinate and work with external advisors as needed
Prepare estimated income and franchise tax payments
Prepare income and franchise tax returns (approximately 100 returns) for all U.S. entities
compile apportionment data by entity
tax research on state tax issues (nexus, apportionment, state specific adjustments, etc.)
prepare tax return documentation workpapers
prepare all tax forms and required statements
e-file tax returns using Onesource tax software
prepare provision to return true-up workpapers and journal entries
Assist with income and franchise tax audits
Review monthly account reconciliations for federal, state, and foreign income tax accounts
Prepare and review quarterly/annual federal and state income tax provision calculations
Calculate and document federal and state FIN48 reserve positions
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
CPA (or in process)
At least 1-2 years of corporate tax or public accounting experience, preferred
Working tax experience in federal, state, and tax accounting preferred
Organized with a problem-solving mindset
Ability to utilize global ERP and tax systems (e.g., SAP, OneSource)
Experience using data analytic technologies (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI)
Excellent oral/written communication and teamwork skills
