Job Description:

The Tax Intermediate Analyst is a developing professional role responsible for managing tax liabilities, compliance, financial reporting, planning, and controversy processes. The role involves technical responsibilities related to information reporting, adherence to regulations, and supporting other financial processes within Citi.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for the overall management of tax liabilities
Contributing to tax planning, accounting, filing, and reporting
Managing payments to tax authorities
Executing FATCA & CRS advisory/rollout
Supporting audits with IRS and Internal Audit
Maintaining compliance with IRS and Citi policy
Handling tax reporting for US and Non-US legislations
Performing reviews of tax policy and procedures
Supporting technology projects from a technical tax perspective
Migration of information reporting work from sub-units

Requirements:

5 to 8 years relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree
Developed communication and diplomacy skills
Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
Knowledge of FATCA & CRS advisory/rollout
Experience with IRS regulatory frameworks
Understanding of tax reporting processes
Proficiency in process reengineering and redesign
Ability to perform audits with IRS and Internal Audit
Expertise in SOX controls and self-assessment testing
Familiarity with Migration of information reporting work
Technical knowledge of tax policy and procedures
Skills in managing tax liabilities and compliance

Nice to have:

Proficiency in Credible Challenge
Experience with Risk Management
Knowledge of Management Reporting
Financial Acumen
