Job Description:

The Tax Analyst 1 role involves responsibility for FATCA and CRS due diligence, analyzing transactions, compliance, planning, and risk assessment. The position requires technical expertise and communication skills to handle tax processes effectively.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for the overall due diligence process for FATCA and CRS legislation
analyze transactions of clients, including compliance, income reporting, planning, and query resolution processes
contribute to the planning, execution of filing and reporting of 1099, 1042, FATCA, and CRS reporting
assist in compiling information required to satisfy FATCA and CRS compliance requirements
manage payments to tax authorities in compliance with specific tax regulations
direct small to medium-sized Finance operational or administrative team(s)
advise on procedures and integrate with others to accomplish sub-function objectives
improve process efficiencies
apply policies to business
perform other duties and functions as assigned
assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Requirements:

1+ years of experience
good knowledge of FATCA and CRS due diligence and reporting processes, procedures, and systems
basic understanding of underlying concepts and principles
ability to make evaluative judgments based on analysis of factual information
ability to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions using technical experience
skill in exchanging information concisely and logically
sensitivity to audience diversity.
