Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Santa Rosa, California. In this role, you will provide crucial administrative support to tax professionals and wealth advisors, ensuring the accurate handling of tax documents and client communications. This position requires strong organizational skills and a collaborative approach to managing data and documentation.

Job Responsibility

  • Enter and update client information across various systems with a focus on accuracy and completeness
  • Review financial and tax documents to ensure compliance and completeness before processing
  • Organize, scan, and securely store client-related documents while assembling and preparing tax returns for client delivery
  • Retrieve client data to assist associates with research and issue resolution
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with organizational and state guidelines, and verify data consistency with prior year tax returns
  • Research and address client inquiries related to tax filings or account management
  • Support wealth advisors in preparing electronic client communications and documentation
  • Maintain efficient document management practices for both physical and electronic records

Requirements

  • Proven experience in administrative support or a similar role
  • Strong skills in data entry with attention to accuracy and detail
  • Proficiency in document management and organization
  • Ability to review and analyze information to ensure compliance
  • Familiarity with tax preparation processes is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
  • Competency in using office software and systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
