Job Description

Are you detail-oriented and eager to support a dynamic tax department during a busy season? Our company is seeking a highly organized Temporary Tax Administrative Assistant in Minneapolis, MN. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional finance and tax environment and contribute meaningfully to our team’s success.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide administrative support to the tax department, including document preparation, data entry, and filing
  • Assist with the coordination and tracking of tax documents and deadlines
  • Communicate with internal staff and external clients to gather or provide information as needed
  • Schedule meetings and maintain calendars for tax team members
  • Prepare reports and ensure the accuracy of all records in accordance with company policies

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior administrative or tax office experience preferred but not required

  • Monitor extension-related activity by tracking signatures, missing items, and the current stage of each request during peak periods
