We are looking for a proactive and personable Tax Administrative Assistant to join our clients team in Troy, New York. This Contract to Permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with clients during tax season while contributing to a dynamic environment. Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing a welcoming and detail-oriented experience
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of individual tax forms, including 1099s and other relevant documents
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage client information and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Support tax advisors with administrative tasks and documentation during tax season
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of tax regulations and deadlines to ensure compliance
  • Coordinate schedules and communicate effectively with clients about appointments and deadlines
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a financial or tax-related field
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software, such as Lacerte, and familiarity with individual tax forms
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Tech-savvy with experience working in CRM systems
  • Knowledge of tax forms and procedures, including 1099s
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, particularly during tax season
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
