Job Description

You are looking for a first experience in taxation? You want to grow your skills within a leading international company? You will join AXA Health, a major business unit of AXA, within the Tax Department, as part of a team of 3 people. Reporting directly to the Tax Manager, you contribute to the tax activities of several entities (insurance company, reinsurance company and MGA) operating in France. Your main objective is to ensure the accuracy, compliance and timely filing of French tax obligations, while supporting the continuous improvement of processes in an international environment. The Role is based In Madrid

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and file tax returns related to CVAE and C3S
  • Prepare and submit policyholder tax returns (TCA & TSA)
  • Prepare and file VAT returns ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Process tax payments and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines
  • Ensure continuous tax monitoring and regulatory compliance
  • Update and align tax processes with legislative changes
  • Support tax audits and draft responses to tax authorities
  • Collaborate with accounting, IT and business teams across multiple entities
  • Contribute to the formalisation and optimisation of internal procedures
  • Participate in transversal projects (IT, business, etc.)

Requirements

  • Master general accounting principles and show interest or knowledge in French taxation
  • Use Excel and reporting tools with ease to manage and analyse data
  • Work comfortably in tools such as SAP (appreciated) and in an international environment (English required)
  • Demonstrate rigour and curiosity to ensure reliable and compliant deliverables
  • Manage priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate effectively and show a strong team spirit across multiple stakeholders
  • A Master’s degree in Accounting and/or Taxation is required
  • You have 1 to 3 years of experience in taxation and/or accounting, ideally within the financial sector
