Tax accountant

• Prepare tax provision schedules and related financial statement disclosures
• Prepare tax returns, information returns, payments, instalment calculations, and maintain the company’s tax database
• Handle various other tax compliance filings
• Collaborate with the finance department to gather required information and coordinate with external advisors
• Support management with tax-related projects and the implementation of strategic initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and municipal tax regulations
• Stay updated on tax legislation and industry trends, and proactively share relevant updates with the team

• Completed or pursuing CPA designation
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant Canadian Tax Experience
• Enrolment in CICA In-depth Tax Program is an asset
• Attention to detail
• Work well under pressure and meet deadlines
