We are seeking a detail‑oriented individual to support global tax processes by extracting and analysing accounting data, preparing tax calculations and returns, ensuring compliance in financial records, and maintaining accurate tax master data. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with ERP systems, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating closely with teams across various markets.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and update tax‑related master data, including commodity codes, weight, tax classifications, and VAT numbers
Respond to ad hoc tax‑coding queries from different business areas
Ensure vendor invoices are tax‑compliant before posting
Prepare manual tax adjustments for items not recorded in ERP systems
Complete monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and address open items
Monitor tax rates and ensure correct configuration of tax settings within the ERP system
Support global tax teams by preparing compliance reports and required tax documentation
Requirements:
Experienced or exposed to an accounting environment
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Knowledgeable about basic tax principles (desirable)
Skilled in managing priorities, multitasking, and maintaining accuracy
Attentive to detail with a strong customer‑focused mindset
Fluent in English
