Job Responsibility

  • Preparation and review of corporate tax computations and returns

Requirements

  • Part qualified, newly qualified, or fully qualified (ACA / CTA / ACCA or equivalent)
  • Experience in corporate tax, whether from a practice or in-house background

  • Partners with the management of real estate and personal property taxes system-wide, including monitoring and reviewing assessment notices for all properties, challenging assessment notices as deemed appropriate, reviewing current properties for change in use and analyzing impact on taxes
  • Assist with review of PILOT agreements and completion of biennial tax exemption reports system-wide
  • Performs tax research and analysis
  • Prepares tax and AMT calculations for depreciation
  • Serves as a key resource for all sales and use tax compliance system-wide, including review of sales and use tax returns
  • Monitors updates to IRS rules and regulations and assists with evaluation of impact to the organization
  • Coordinates federal and state audits, including income tax and sales and use tax audits
