Job Responsibility:

Responsible for the tax reporting for MX

Requirements:

  • Strong Knowledge of Mexican Tax Legislation
  • Expertise in ISR (Impuesto Sobre la Renta), IVA (Impuesto al Valor Agregado), and Código Fiscal de la Federación
  • Familiarity with SAT (Servicio de Administración Tributaria) requirements and electronic invoicing (CFDI)
  • Experience with International Tax and Transfer Pricing
  • Understanding of BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting), OECD guidelines, and double tax treaties
  • Practical experience with transfer pricing documentation and APA (Advance Pricing Agreements) in Mexico
  • Tax Compliance and Reporting
  • Strong command of monthly and annual tax filings, DIOT, DIM, and Contabilidad Electrónica
  • Ability to manage tax audits and respond to SAT reviews effectively
  • Technology and ERP Systems
  • Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or Contpaqi for tax reporting and automation
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Excel advanced, Power BI, Alteryx) to support tax planning and compliance
  • Leadership and Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Experience leading tax teams and collaborating with finance, legal, and operations
  • Strong communication skills to interact with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities
  • English fluent is a MUST
