Job Description:

Reporting to the Tax Manager, a member of the compliance area of the UK Finance department expected to contribute to the overall success of the Tax and Compliance Functions. Assist in tasks for the UK Tax function, which manages Direct and Indirect Taxes for entities around the world. The candidate will help to manage and report taxes, meet deadlines and requirements, and ensure tax accounting is controlled.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in UK Corporation Tax compliance, including deductibility analysis, capital allowances and Video Games Expenditure Credit
  • Assist in completing PWC tax information requests for UK / Ireland and Finnish entities in order to complete the tax returns
  • Assist in internal tax compliance, including US GAAP tax packages, reconciliations and ad hoc analysis as needed
  • Assist in Tax-lead Accounting tasks such as Tax Accounting, VAT Accounting, and Transfer Pricing entries
  • Assist in the preparation of employment tax filings such as the PAYE Settlement Agreement
  • Assist in the management of Global indirect taxes arising as a result of Electronically Supplied Services and Pillar 1
  • Perform testing over the Tax Risk and Controls Matrix
  • Assist in any ad hoc projects / tasks that may arise as a part of the overall tax management of the T2 International Group
  • Assist in the control / compilation of the quarterly CT61 withholding tax returns to HMRC
  • Complete monthly Office of National Statistics surveys, and other surveys of a similar nature
  • Calculation and Posting of transfer pricing entries on a monthly / quarterly basis
  • Ensure that all Income tax control accounts are fully reconciled, revalued and accurate on a monthly basis

Requirements:

  • A demonstrable interest in pursuing Tax as a career
  • Good knowledge of excel and other Microsoft office products
  • Understanding of basic accounting concepts and taxation
