Our TCP Key Workers play a critical role in making this happen — leading care coordination, stabilising placements and driving long‑term outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Providing intensive, therapeutic, individualised support to children and young people with complex needs
Leading case coordination, care planning and progress reviews
Coaching and supporting carers using trauma-informed approaches
Working closely with schools, child protection, clinicians and other services
Actively preventing placement breakdown and responding to emerging risks
Maintaining high-quality case notes, reports and outcomes tracking
Advocating for the young person's voice in all decision-making
Requirements:
Experience supporting children or young people with complex needs
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
A calm, trauma-informed approach under pressure
Confidence working across systems and stakeholders
Alignment with Aruma's BRAVE values
Relevant qualifications (such as Child, Youth & Family or Community Services) are desirable
Nice to have:
Prior Key Worker experience not required
Support may be available for further study
