Job Description

We are looking for a TAQA Trainer/Teacher and Skills Coach with a start date of 17th August 2026. The TAQA Trainer/Teacher & Skills coach plays an important role in maintaining the quality and integrity of apprenticeship and vocational training programmes across the college. They will plan and deliver a suite of TAQA qualifications, carrying out internal quality assurance activities, ensuring that assessment decisions are fair, valid, and consistent, and that delivery meets the requirements of awarding bodies and regulatory standards. The TAQA Trainer/Teacher & Skills Coach will work collaboratively with students, teachers, Heads of Department and other stakeholders to promote high standards in training, learning, and assessment, contributing to continuous improvement and positive learner outcomes. As a trainer/teacher and assessor, you will deliver engaging learning experiences in the workplace, online and within college settings. You'll monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, complete assessment and verification tasks, and maintain high standards of quality and compliance. Working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders both within and outside college, you will tailor training to meet industry and leaner need ensuring they are fully prepared for their next steps.
