Job Description

As an LGV Class 2 Driver you are responsible for the delivery and collection of our products.

Job Responsibility

  • Delivering/collecting the company’s units and equipment to its customers
  • inspecting all units and equipment on collection to ensure it is in good order, recording all visible damage
  • ensuring all necessary company paperwork is completed in the correct manner
  • driving company vehicles in a safe, courteous and responsible manner
  • operating all lifting equipment in a safe manner
  • loading and unloading plant and equipment in accordance with safe practice
  • carrying out daily checks of vehicle and any lifting / holding equipment

Requirements

  • C+E Driving Licence is essential
  • at least 2 years commercial driving experience
  • good geographical knowledge of the local and surrounding areas
  • customer focused experience
  • good physical health
  • flexible approach to work, able to work reasonable overtime if required
  • adhere to all health & safety practice
