Job Description

As a member of the HR department of the hotel, this role collaborates closely with HR colleagues. You will support the daily operations of the Human Resources Office, including recruitment and learning. You will be part of a team of four, enjoying a positive and collaborative work atmosphere. This position is committed to delivering high-quality HR services that drive business success while ensuring full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist the Recruitment Manager throughout the recruitment process within the hotel (open & follow up on job requisition of the different channels)
  • Provide support for internal training programs (Marriott training platform and onboarding training from the W brand)
  • Manage requests for extras (casual workers) from various departments and follow up on them (hours, payment ...)
  • Manage internal communications across the various communication channels and in-house
  • Ensure that recruitment materials are kept up to date and that Marriott procedures are followed
  • Manage a part of the staff accommodation (check-in/check-out inventory & follow up)
  • Responsible for apprentices and trainees at the hotel (Participation to the career fairs at hospitality schools, recruiting apprentices, follow up with the various organizations)

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Human Resources
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with partners, managers and candidates
  • Enjoy working in a bold, international team
  • Excellent presentation skills that reflect the W brand image
  • A genuine interest in the worlds of taste, sound, the body, the stage and taking a stand

Nice to have

Knowledge of other languages is an advantage
