Job Description:

Talent Sourcing Specialist role primarily focusing on recruiting professionals, managing sourcing strategies, and building effective business relationships. The position involves direct sourcing activities, consulting with hiring managers, and organizing recruitment events to identify top talent.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in recruiting and selecting professional and managerial individuals from internal and external sources
  • Plan and conduct innovative employment advertising campaigns to recruit candidates and develop effective working relationships with professional recruitment agencies, schools and all levels of internal management
  • Review and analyze selected candidates on various factors such as job experience, education, training, skills, knowledge and abilities
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing status updates and information on the company
  • Administer tests and interpret results
  • Consult with more experienced managers on sourcing strategy, and engages in direct candidate sourcing activities
  • Plan the selection process including competencies to assess and interviewers
  • Consult on selection decision and offers, frequently involving complex terms and conditions as well as providing strong consultation to management on recruiting and Human Resources policy
  • Complete all process requirements including dispositioning candidates, and ensuring compliance with all policy and regulatory requirements
  • Manage external research, contingency or retained search firms
  • Present recommendations for selected candidates to Recruiting management, direct them through the hiring process, and consult with hiring managers in assigned groups
  • Organize recruiting events such as presentations, receptions, club events, and interviews, effectively branding the organization to attract top talent
  • Complete all process requirements, including dispositioning candidates and ensuring compliance with all policy and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with colleagues, internal partners and managers regarding the recruitment process
  • Partner with other campus recruiters to leverage candidate pool for needs nationwide

Requirements:

2+ years of Recruiting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice to have:

  • Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Candidate must have 2+ years of relevant US Sourcing experience
  • Must be internet-savvy and can perform advanced Google search
  • Experience working in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and preferably PeopleSoft Recruiting Solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (particularly business email writing knowledge)
  • Experience leveraging social and digital media, and online tools/resume databases to proactively identify passive candidates
  • Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously
  • Preferred experience working in / servicing other international geographies, or experience working for a Recruitment Process Outsourcer (RPO)
  • Experience working with a U.S. headquartered organization is preferred
  • Understanding of banking domain & technologies is preferred, ability to analyze, sell and influence skills
