The Talent & People Partner is a strategic and operational role that sits at the intersection of talent acquisition and HR Business Partnering, playing a critical part in enabling Inspired’s schools to attract, retain, and develop exceptional people. This role goes beyond recruitment delivery, acting as a trusted advisor to school leaders and key stakeholders on all people-related matters that impact performance, culture, and long-term success. Working in close partnership with School Leadership Teams, HR Operations, and the wider Inspired global HR community, the Talent & People Partner supports workforce planning, organisational growth, and leadership effectiveness. The role requires a strong understanding of both business and people priorities, balancing hands-on execution with advisory responsibility, and ensuring that people practices are aligned with Inspired’s values, safeguarding standards, and local employment legislation. Based at the Head Office in Alfragide, Portugal, this position is central to building strong, engaged, and high-performing teams across the organisation. The Talent & People Partner plays a key role in shaping the employee experience, supporting change and growth initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement of talent and people processes across Inspired’s schools.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with School Leaders and Hiring Managers to understand workforce needs and deliver effective recruitment solutions
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring a consistent, fair, and high-quality candidate experience
Proactively source talent and build pipelines for current and future hiring needs
Act as a trusted People Partner, providing day-to-day HR advice to leaders on employee relations, performance management, engagement, and employee lifecycle matters
Support managers in navigating people challenges with confidence and consistency
Collaborate with HR Operations and global HR teams to ensure alignment with policies, frameworks, and best practices
Ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new hires in partnership with schools and HR teams
Maintain accurate records in recruitment and HR systems and monitor key people metrics
Ensure compliance with safeguarding requirements, internal policies, and local employment legislation
Contribute to continuous improvement of talent and people processes
Requirements:
A degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Communications, or a related field
Proven experience in talent acquisition, with exposure to HR generalist or HR Business Partner responsibilities
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese
Experience using applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and HR platforms
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine passion for people and education
Nice to have:
Experience in an international or education environment is an advantage but not essential
