We are seeking a high-caliber Talent Executive to lead sourcing, negotiation, and execution for high-profile events, campaigns, and content initiatives. As a key cross-functional partner, you will own the talent lifecycle from initial ideation and outreach to final onsite execution. The ideal candidate possesses deep industry credibility, exceptional negotiation skills, and a proven track record in music talent buying within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This talent can be based in New York or Los Angeles.
Job Responsibility:
Lead talent booking for assigned events and partnerships, securing culturally relevant artists and creators that align with brand priorities
Provide expert recommendations on music trends, genre movements, and artist development to inform programming decisions
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of talent options for upcoming projects
Direct outreach and negotiation with agents, managers, labels, attorneys, and publicists
Manage deal memo development, contract workflows, and internal approvals
Partner with Legal and Finance to ensure compliance with procurement, insurance, and payment requirements
Oversee technical and hospitality riders, W9s, and all related documentation
Own booking operations across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
Serve as the primary point of contact for talent teams, managing logistics, schedules, and approvals
Support onsite talent relations and issue resolution during events to ensure a seamless artist experience
Maintain accurate records and budgets across internal platforms (CODA, Google Workspace, Airtable)
Utilize data and AI-enabled workflows to streamline booking operations and reporting
Requirements:
8-10 years in talent booking, artist relations, or music partnerships
Deep knowledge of the live music ecosystem, including agencies, labels, and management
Proven success closing complex talent deals for branded content and live events
Capable of independently managing multiple high-profile projects with discretion and precision
Proficient in Google Workspace and enterprise workflow systems
Comfortable working evenings and weekends during peak production and event cycles
Nice to have:
Experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to improve efficiency
