Job Description:

SCOPE: Considering the constant changes in the market and for the improvement of one’s own career, being versatile and able to handle multiple tasks is imperatively expected. To ensure hotel operations and service, lateral transfers to other areas may occur in the medium or long term, with or without prior notice. You must also be prepared to accept other tasks, with or without any possible priority. BASIC FUNCTIONS: Ensure the effective implementation of all training policies, following the standards of Rosewood Hotels and the specific Resort, within Human Resources management. Plan, manage, and implement effective and systematic daily training activities and programs for all levels of internal guests, resulting in a highly motivated, flexible, and multi-skilled workforce. Ensure the implementation of an active and effective system within the training department.

Requirements:

  • Ensure the effective implementation of all training policies, following the standards of Rosewood Hotels and the specific Resort, within Human Resources management
  • Plan, manage, and implement effective and systematic daily training activities and programs for all levels of internal guests
  • Ensure the implementation of an active and effective system within the training department
  • Ensure that the training center is properly maintained and that training documentation, materials, and facilities are correctly inventoried, stored, and accounted for
  • Maintain a training library as part of the training and development tools
  • Ensure that the recommended number of departmental trainers is trained for each department
  • Audit, evaluate, and regularly provide constructive feedback to Standards Specialists regarding their performance and effectiveness
  • Initiate and implement training, motivation, and recognition programs together with the Training Manager and the Director of Human Resources to motivate Standards Specialists
  • Work with Standards Specialists and ensure they comply with the monthly departmental training schedule
  • Assist Standards Specialists in the preparation of task lists and activity descriptions
  • Provide tools and training materials to departmental trainers to support the preparation of their departmental training session projects
  • Conduct and supervise the following training programs together with the Training Manager: Orientation Training, Hygiene Training, Health and Safety Training, Fire Safety Training, English Training
