Job Description:

As a team member of the ANDRES Human Resources department, the Talent and Employee Development Coordinator leads the employee life cycle at ANDRES Construction from recruiting and onboarding to learning and continual development. By integrating recruiting, onboarding, training, and lessons-learned systems, the Employee Development Coordinator strengthens the people that drive ANDRES’ continued success across Texas.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the full recruiting cycle for all positions across multiple departments
  • Partner with Director of HR and department leaders as needed to identify staffing needs, source candidates, and schedule interviews
  • Oversee sourcing and posting via online platforms
  • Lead ANDRES’ participation in college career fairs and early talent outreach programs statewide, strengthening recruiting pipelines
  • Design, implement, and manage onboarding workflows that streamline background checks, technology setup, scheduling, and new hire communications
  • Coordinate cross-departmental notifications to ensure readiness across IT, Operations, and HR before each new hire’s first day
  • Lead efforts to expand and standardize onboarding and training plans
  • Continuously evaluate and refine employee experience touchpoints to ensure clarity, consistency, and cultural alignment
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain training programs that address both current skill needs and future workforce capabilities
  • Facilitate project launches to strengthen team alignment between owners, architects, engineers, and project teams before project start-up
  • Facilitate project wrap-ups at project completion to capture lessons learned and develop an evolving knowledge library for future projects
  • Manage internal leadership program created to focus on core skills development for employee-owners at ANDRES that have been identified as ready to take the next steps in their career growth
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design targeted, practical training content that enhances performance and safety
  • Maintain updated ANDRES created trainings in LMS that are timely, relevant, project outcomes focused, and able to assess user understanding
  • Manage ANDRES participation in local industry programs in all three markets
  • Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, trade partners, and industry associations to promote the ANDRES brand and strengthen recruiting pipelines
  • Align all people-related initiatives with organizational goals and ESOP culture to strengthen engagement and retention
  • Use data and feedback from onboarding and recruiting to guide continuous improvement
  • Serve as a bridge between operational leadership, project teams, and HR to create a unified employee experience and development strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3+ years of experience in recruiting, onboarding, or related Human Resources function
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills across all organizational levels.
