Job Responsibility:
Serve as a positive representation of Heritage Cooperative’s Core Values
Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles, helping managers find, hire, and retain quality candidates
Sources passive and active candidates building a talent pipeline for current and future manpower needs
Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline
Partner with HR manager to maintain internship and other partnership programs
Facilitate pre-employment processes including drug screening, background checks and Motor vehicle reports
Provide continuous support to candidates through the hiring process
Help create and maintain a positive employer brand
Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
Provide support during the onboarding process, conduct new hire orientation for employees
Stay up to date with recruitment best practices and requirements
Create job board posts and job descriptions
Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in full cycle recruiting or talent acquisition
Experience with an HRIS and Applicant Tracking System
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates, hiring managers and divisional leadership
The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Employment law knowledge
Capture, review and provide hiring data including retention, turnover, time to fill- ability to use Microsoft Suite and ADP ATS systems proficiently
Valid License with acceptable driving record
Nice to have:
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
Proven success in conducting interviews using various methods (phone, video, email, in-person)
Proven ability to source candidates using various methods (e.g., social media, professional networks, job boards)
