We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead our recruitment efforts. This position is perfect for an HR professional who excels at matching the right talent with the right departments. You will be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring our hiring managers are supported and our candidate pipeline remains strong and diverse. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a critical driver of our organizational growth, responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process and the seamless onboarding of new talent. This role blends strategic sourcing and high-touch candidate management with technical HRIS administration. Beyond finding the right people, this specialist ensures data integrity within our systems and fosters a diverse, inclusive workplace by building strong community and educational partnerships.
Job Responsibility:
Manage full-cycle recruitment: draft job specs, screen, interview, administer pre-employment tests, and prepare offers/background checks
Source passive candidates for difficult-to-fill positions and manage multiple requisitions (Full-time, Temp, and Campus recruitment)
Consult with business leaders on headcount and compensation strategies
Act as the primary point of contact for all candidates, providing feedback and closure with the utmost professionalism
Coordinate the end-to-end new employee orientation, ensuring a welcoming first-day experience
Manage logistics for quarterly orientations, including catering, technology setup, and stakeholder participation
Continuously improve orientation materials based on feedback and organizational needs
Conduct research to support diversity strategies and build relationships with underrepresented communities
Maintain a network of contacts across social media, colleges, universities, and professional associations
Monitor recruitment trends and provide recommendations for innovative search strategies
Workday: Maintain data integrity for hires, terminations, and salary adjustments
participate in audits and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new releases
Docebo (LMS): Handle daily administration, course implementation, content management, and training completion tracking
Requirements:
Two-year Community College vocational training or a University Degree in Human Resources
3 to 4 years of related work experience in talent acquisition or HR coordination
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Working knowledge of iCIMS (ATS) and Docebo (LMS)
Working knowledge of Workday (specifically for data integrity and business process testing)
Strong conflict resolution skills and telephone etiquette
Sound judgment in handling non-routine requests and escalating issues
Ability to handle highly sensitive, proprietary, and confidential information with total discretion
