The sustainable luxury destination is located on a 60-acre (24 hectare) site along the pristine beachfront of Playa Esmeralda in northeastern Dominican Republic, along the southern shores of Samaná Bay. A site of breathtaking natural beauty, Tropicalia is home to a diverse ecosystem of white-sand beaches; crystalline, aquamarine water and coral reefs; mountains, forests, mangroves, lagoons and rivers; a working coconut plantation; and an organic farm.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for assigned positions across the resort
  • Source and attract high-quality candidates through diverse recruitment channels, including Workday, LinkedIn, and other sourcing platforms
  • Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and assessments
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities
  • Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives
  • Maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide regular hiring updates
  • Support pre-opening recruitment projects and employer branding initiatives
  • Open requisitions in Workday and post opportunities online while ensuring alignment with company branding standards
  • Manage all open positions within the recruitment system and generate accurate hiring timeline reports
  • Coordinate immigration and work authorization processes for international candidates, including document collection, visa requirements, government submissions, and communication with external providers to support a smooth relocation and onboarding experience
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with local labor and immigration regulations related to foreign hires

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or Human Resources
  • Experience recruiting for hospitality, luxury hotels, resorts, or service-driven environments preferred
  • Strong interviewing, sourcing, and candidate assessment skills
  • Experience supporting international recruitment and immigration processes is highly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Spanish
  • Knowledge of labor local laws
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Pre-opening experience, experience recruiting for remote locations, and a passion for building high-performing teams will be highly valued
