Job Description

Fivetran is seeking a Contract Senior Technical Sourcer specializing in Technical Product and Software Engineering roles to join our team on an initial 6-month contractor basis. In this role, you’ll work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and Hiring Managers to identify, engage, and screen top Product and Engineering talent.Your expertise in sourcing and understanding the technical skill set landscape will ensure we bring in highly qualified candidates who align with our company’s mission and culture.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify & Engage Talent: Leverage various sourcing strategies/tools (LinkedIn, Github, StackOverflow etc.) to find top-tier technical talent for our engineering, product and other technical roles
  • Talent Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain talent pools of high-caliber technical candidates by actively networking, building relationships, and keeping track of potential future hires
  • Collaborate with TA Partners: Partner with technical recruiters to understand specific Product and Engineering hiring needs
  • Diversity Sourcing: Proactively source candidates from diverse backgrounds to support our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives
  • Data-Driven Sourcing: Utilize recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to maintain accurate candidate pipelines and deliver sourcing metrics and reports
  • Adhere to good data hygiene and best practices
  • using tooling to give you a tactical advantage in the marketplace

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical sourcing experience in technical recruitment (engineering, software, development, product management) within fast-paced environments
  • 1+ years of in-house recruiting or sourcing experience within startups or fast-growing tech companies
  • Technical understanding of highly technical roles and skills, particularly within software engineering, DevOps, data science, and product development
  • Collaborative approach with strong partnership skills with internal recruiting teams and hiring managers
  • Familiarity with recruiting and sourcing tools such as Workday, Greenhouse, HackerRank, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Guide and AI platforms
  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment and adapt quickly to rapidly changing hiring needs and priorities
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to follow processes and best practices
  • Analytical skills with the ability to track and analyze key sourcing metrics and use data to refine sourcing strategies
