Job Responsibility:
Own the end to end internal recruitment processes across our teams
Partner with hiring managers and be the first point of contact for all things recruitment
Owning the recruitment process, advertising roles, initial telephone screening, coordinating interviews for successful candidates, face to face interviews and assessment centres as appropriate
Coaching and upskilling managers with a toolkit on recruitment and selection processes and supporting with writing Job descriptions
Collaborate with managers to build a diverse talent pool using our recruitment platforms as well as leveraging your expert sourcing knowledge to find great candidates in harder to find places
Proactively source talent for Pasta Evangelists directly
Design assessment centres and improve current hiring processes
Support the Chief People Officer in developing recruitment strategies for Pasta Evangelists and Continually improve our Talent initiatives and processes in line with the company strategy
Managing continuous candidate pipelines and talent pools
Support the end-to-end new starter process alongside the People Team, including Right to Work checks, managing offers, onboarding coordination, and completing reference and background checks in line with compliance requirements
Track recruitment and keep up to date records of activity on candidate tracking system and produce regular and ad-hoc reports on recruitment activities and processes
Deliver a best-in-class Candidate Experience throughout the entire candidate journey
coach colleagues on recruitment best practices and ensure a consistent values-based approach to hiring
Acting as the first point of contact for candidates
Gather, review, and report on recruitment feedback from touch-points internally and externally to help us identify recurring themes and prioritise potential improvements
Explore efficiencies in our current processes and platforms
Partner with the FP&A Manager and Head of Operations & Restaurants to review and authorise hiring requisitions, ensuring recruitment activity aligns with approved budgets, workforce planning requirements, operational productivity targets and business objectives
Act as an authorised signatory for Manchester Airport, managing and overseeing airside security pass applications for employees and contractors in line with airport security regulations and internal governance procedures
Liaise with external agencies regarding employee passes and independently process visitor and contractor passes as required
Coordinate and administer Manchester Airport employee car park permit applications, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained, records are accurately maintained, and allocations comply with airport policies and internal controls
Provide recruitment guidance and operational support to franchise partners, including drafting compliant job descriptions, advising on best practice attraction strategies, and posting vacancies through the company’s Applicant Tracking System in line with brand and compliance standards
Manage and oversee the employee referral scheme, verifying eligibility in line with company policy, maintaining accurate documentation, and liaising with Payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing of referral payments
Requirements:
Minimum three years’ high-volume recruitment experience, ideally within hospitality or operational roles in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
Experience recruiting in high-growth or start-up businesses
Strong stakeholder management skills, including external partners
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Harri), including implementation or optimisation
Experience conducting telephone interviews, shortlisting candidates, and designing assessment centres
Experience with recruitment advertising and online job boards
Highly organised and solutions-driven, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint and G Suite skills
Strong communication skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Detail-oriented with a passion for hiring, coaching and team development
