Job Description:

The Talent Acquisition Operations Business Analyst is a developing professional role, responsible for liaising between operations and technology to drive broad scale initiatives and business process changes/ enhancements. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to improve the user experience, streamline the hiring and onboarding business process, while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition Operations Supervisors to identify opportunities to enhance the hiring and onboarding business process in Workday
  • Provide insights as a SME for hiring and onboarding in collaboration with other business partners and GPO groups where business processes overlap
  • Analyze data, business processes, gaps in capabilities, process changes, and reengineering efforts necessary to develop solutions
  • Collaborate with partners to develop new approaches to collecting and analyzing data including the adoption of tools and technology to deepen analytics and reporting insights and create additional reports needed to capture additional data from HR systems
  • Maintain and update hiring and onboarding process workflows and Standard Operating Procedures and review with Operations Managers, GPO, and GPL at defined intervals to ensure information is up to date
  • Partner closely with stakeholders at various levels of the organization and across functional groups to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Liaise with regional leaders and SMEs to develop Workday change requirements
  • Provide advice and counsel related to technology or operations of the business, ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
  • Contribute to product-wide reporting initiatives such as Monthly Operating Reports, Scorecards, and other reporting needs across all regions to track and monitor performance statistics
  • Coordinate change management communication and execution, in partnership with senior leadership
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
  • Research & document quality issues, categorizing them as systemic, process or data integrity issues, whereby being able to streamline an escalation process, but identifying solutions and communicating procedures and educational opportunities to the team
  • Serve as escalation point for teams related to process, compliance, and systems
  • Partner to facilitate & direct training and onboarding efforts for new hires within Talent Acquisition Operations team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in business, data and/or systems analysis
  • Knowledge of HR, Talent Acquisition and/or Shared Services a plus
  • Strong time management skills and proven analytical/ problem solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Experience utilizing reporting and analytics to address business problems, assess time & effort required, and support leadership in providing guidance to senior management
  • Strong aptitude in compliance, in particular with processes and procedures
  • Ability to multi-task and handle short-term deadlines and conflicting priorities
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaboration
  • Proven success leading and managing change, as well as process improvement
  • Expertise in Workday and ServiceNow a significant advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Advanced English
