We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team in Rockville, Maryland. In this contract role you will play a key part in shaping our organization’s workforce by managing recruitment strategies, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and supporting employee development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively across departments to address staffing needs and contribute to the growth and skill enhancement of team members.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with organizational goals and future workforce needs
Collaborate with department leaders to evaluate staffing requirements and create job postings that attract top talent
Conduct virtual and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and ensure an excellent fit for open roles
Manage the full hiring process, including posting roles, sourcing candidates, and facilitating background checks and I-9 verifications
Assist with documentation for H1-B visa applications, including updating compensation packages and ensuring compliance with required coding standards
Guide new hires through the onboarding process and coordinate employee offboarding when necessary
Maintain accurate and secure employee records in both digital and physical formats
Provide support and guidance to employees and management on HR policies, procedures, and compliance with labor regulations
Administer the Employee Evaluation System to deliver constructive feedback and identify opportunities for growth and skill development
Draft and manage offer letters, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and best practices
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in talent acquisition or human resources management
Proven expertise in full-cycle recruiting and talent sourcing strategies
Strong knowledge of employee performance management and evaluation systems
Familiarity with total rewards programs and HR compliance requirements
Ability to manage H1-B visa documentation and related processes
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with candidates and team members
Proficiency in maintaining detailed employee records and ensuring data accuracy
Strong understanding of federal and state labor regulations
