We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. This is a Contract-to-ongoing position, offering an exciting opportunity to shape our recruitment and employee development strategies while fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement, with a focus on supporting professionals in the travel industry.
Job Responsibility:
Design and publish compelling job postings to attract candidates for ongoing, part-time, contract, and virtual roles
manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
build and maintain a robust talent pipeline, with a focus on recruiting travel industry professionals
establish partnerships with universities, colleges, and attend recruitment events to identify emerging talent
develop structured onboarding programs to ensure new hires are well-integrated and trained in travel industry practices
oversee offboarding processes with a focus on compliance and empathy
coordinate employee benefits administration, including insurance setup and onboarding documentation
create and implement training programs to support skill development and leadership growth
maintain and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and performance evaluation frameworks
lead initiatives to strengthen workplace culture, including employee incentives, wellness programs, and team-building activities.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or people operations
experience in the travel industry is highly preferred
proficiency in employment regulations, benefits administration, and retirement account setup
strong interpersonal and communication skills with exceptional organizational abilities
familiarity with virtual work environments and remote team management
demonstrated passion for employee development and an understanding of the motivations of travel professionals
experience with full-cycle recruiting, campus recruiting, and onboarding processes
knowledge of tools such as applicant tracking systems, background checks, and talent acquisition platforms.
