Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the Full Recruitment Lifecycle: Oversee all stages of recruitment, from taking job briefs to managing offers
  • Proactive Sourcing: focus on outreach, build relationships across networks, and constantly look for new ways to find A-players
  • Candidate Assessment: Conduct effective video interviews, assessing skills and behaviours against role requirements, and identify high-potential candidates who align to our values
  • Partner with Hiring Managers: Collaborate to define ideal candidate profiles, align expectations, advise on market insights, and support hiring managers in making confident, high-quality decisions
  • Candidate Management: Provide an exceptional candidate experience from start to finish, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and a respectful, human process for every applicant
  • Challenge & Improve Recruitment Processes: Feel comfortable giving and receiving feedback to refine our approach- identifying opportunities to streamline, innovate, and elevate our recruitment standards
  • Lead & Support Recruitment Initiatives: Support employer branding activities, careers events, recruitment campaigns, and talent-focused projects that strengthen our pipeline and showcase EMJ as a high-performance, values-driven company

Requirements:

  • Recruitment Experience: you are experienced in 360 recruitment, with a focus on candidate assessment and experience
  • Knowledge of recruiting roles in publishing, would be an added bonus
  • Growth Mindset: You’re enthusiastic and passionate about recruitment
  • Organised & detail-oriented: You pride yourself on your ability to manage multiple tasks, track progress, and follow up reliably
  • A communicator: Friendly, professional, with strong verbal and written skills

  • Proactive thinker: You don’t wait to be told what to do- you anticipate needs, spot opportunities, and take initiative
