We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support a fast-moving hiring team within a manufacturing environment. This Contract position focuses on keeping candidates engaged, interviews organized, and pre-employment steps on track for hiring activity in Minnesota. The person in this role will work closely with recruiters and business leaders, balancing high-volume coordination with careful attention to accuracy, communication, and candidate experience.
Job Responsibility
Coordinate recruiting activity for multiple recruiters at once, ensuring hiring workflows continue moving efficiently across a high-volume environment
Manage candidate progress through key pre-employment stages, including offer follow-up, background screening, drug testing, and required onboarding documentation
Communicate with applicants through text, phone, and email to keep them informed, resolve delays, and help protect scheduled start dates
Arrange a large number of interviews each day, from hourly hiring conversations to panel meetings involving senior leaders and other stakeholders
Maintain accurate records in Workday and related tracking tools so candidate information, scheduling details, and hiring updates remain current
Partner with recruiters and hiring teams to support both large-scale hiring needs and recruiting coordination for specialized roles
Adjust quickly to changing priorities and urgent requests while maintaining strong service levels for candidates, recruiters, and interview teams
Use Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and other office tools to manage calendars, meeting logistics, and day-to-day communication
Monitor pre-employment processing timelines and follow up as needed when approvals or documentation are still pending
Requirements
Prior experience in talent acquisition coordination, recruiting operations, or a similar hiring support role within a fast-paced business setting
Proven ability to support high-volume recruiting activity while managing scheduling, candidate communication, and administrative follow-through
Hands-on experience using Workday for recruiting or candidate tracking activities
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
Ability to communicate confidently with candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and senior leadership
High level of accuracy when handling interview schedules, candidate records, and compliance-related documentation
Comfortable shifting between competing priorities and responding quickly in a dynamic work environment
Experience supporting corporate or specialized recruiting teams is strongly preferred
