JD Sports is on the lookout for a Talent Acquisition Business Partner (People Talent Consultant) to join our high-energy Talent team. This is a role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume retail recruitment, can manage competing priorities with confidence, and knows how to build strong partnerships across the business. You’ll support a dynamic portfolio across Retail, partnering with stakeholders to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes. From new store openings to peak trade hiring, you’ll play a key role in ensuring we have the right talent in place to keep our business moving at pace. Job Responsibility

  • Own end-to-end recruitment across a portfolio of retail stores, managing high-volume hiring with pace and precision
  • Deliver against key hiring KPIs including time-to-fill, quality of hire and candidate experience
  • Build strong, credible partnerships with Area Managers and Store Leaders across the network
  • Proactively source, engage and build pipeline talent for both immediate and future hiring needs, particularly for hard-to-fill roles
  • Manage hiring for new store openings across your portfolio and peak trade, ensuring delivery against tight timelines
  • Manage multiple roles at once, prioritising effectively in a fast-moving retail environment
  • Act as a true partner to the business, not just filling roles, but influencing better hiring outcomes and thinking strategically
  • Support or lead Talent Acquisition projects focused on continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency
  • Assist with recruitment reporting and analytics to track performance and inform decision‑making
  • Help optimise ATS workflows and champion best‑practice recruitment across the team
  • Support and enhance our employer brand, ensuring JD energy comes through in all candidate touchpoints
