JD Sports is on the lookout for a Talent Acquisition Business Partner (People Talent Consultant) to join our high-energy Talent team. Job Responsibility:
Own end-to-end recruitment across a portfolio of retail stores, managing high-volume hiring with pace and precision
Deliver against key hiring KPIs including time-to-fill, quality of hire and candidate experience
Build strong, credible partnerships with Area Managers and Store Leaders across the network
Proactively source, engage and build pipeline talent for both immediate and future hiring needs, particularly for hard-to-fill roles
Manage hiring for new store openings across your portfolio and peak trade, ensuring delivery against tight timelines
Manage multiple roles at once, prioritising effectively in a fast-moving retail environment
Act as a true partner to the business, not just filling roles, but influencing better hiring outcomes and thinking strategically
Support or lead Talent Acquisition projects focused on continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency
Assist with recruitment reporting and analytics to track performance and inform decision‑making
Help optimise ATS workflows and champion best‑practice recruitment across the team
Support and enhance our employer brand, ensuring JD energy comes through in all candidate touchpoints
Requirements:
A driven recruiter with experience in high-volume or retail hiring
Comfortable working to KPIs and delivering results in a performance-led environment
Strong relationship builder — able to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple roles and shifting priorities
Proactive and solutions-focused, always thinking one step ahead
Comfortable using data and insights to guide decisions
