Are you a qualified GI actuary with London Market experience, looking to step into a 'Head Of' role? Then this is an exceptional opportunity to take the lead on developing our client's fast-growing pricing capabilities. You will also build new pricing models for multiple lines of business, as well as test and validate model functionality while ensuring accurate data is used in the production of pricing reviews. In addition, you will be responsible for the ongoing development, maintenance and regular validation of rating tools and pricing capabilities for all classes of business. Actuarial pricing knowledge is preferable but not essential as our client will also take character and capability into account when reviewing applications.   • With the assistance of the external brokers, lead the end‑to‑end design of the recommended annual motor non-proportional reinsurance programmes, taking into account the features of existing proportional arrangements
  • Lead the annual reinsurance renewal processes, ensuring that exposure data, renewal submission information and actuarial pricing work is accurate, timely, and comprehensive to facilitate an orderly and timely placement
  • Ensure that all reinsurance arrangements meet relevant regulatory requirements and internal governance standards (including compliance with the Group Reinsurance policy)
  • Build strong relationships with the Group’s current and prospective panel of reinsurers
  • Build strong relationships with Admiral’s reinsurance broker(s), leverage their knowledge and skills to optimise the placement
  • Provide guidance and challenge to other areas of the business as the Group’s subject-matter expert for motor and casualty risk and reinsurance, in particular in relation to internal capital model development, wider capital topics and ORSA stress and scenario testing
