Job Description

The incumbent shall provide expertise in pursuit of furthering technology insertion initiatives in a tactically relevant environment with the ultimate objective of delivering accredited capabilities to the warfighter.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and demonstration of military communication systems in test environments
  • Assist development of work estimates for new and continuing work
  • Develop and manage requirements for new products and services
  • Assist developing test cases
  • Support system test and verification procedures
  • Document deficiencies
  • Support installation and upgrades
  • Support business development activities
  • Share knowledge/expertise and insight to support planning, reviews, and Agile ceremonies (as necessary)

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 12 plus years of relevant experience. Associates/trade school with 10 plus years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years prior military or government/military contractor experience with tactical communications systems
  • Basic understanding of encryption management and RF transmission principles
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information level clearance for continued employment
  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Nice to have

  • Five years' hands-on experience with relevant tactical communications systems
  • Experience with tactical communication systems and secure communications networks, including loading, initializing, and configuring communications software
  • Experience in installing and troubleshooting aviation subsystems
  • Working knowledge of DoW guidelines for encryption
  • Previous experience with DoW command control and communication systems
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively (written/oral)
