Randstad is recruiting for a client, a renowned SSC that's seeking a Tactical Buyer for a period of 6 months

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for all elements Purchase Order creation from approved requisitions through to hand off to matching goods and services receipts
  • Proactively following up outstanding requisitions, unfulfilled Purchase Orders and supporting supplier query management as required
  • Processing approved purchasing requisitions
  • Create Purchases orders and distribute to 3rd Party Suppliers / intercompany
  • Following up outstanding purchase requisitions
  • Follow up outstanding unreceipted purchase orders
  • Support the Query Management team and own level 2 query management on purchase orders
  • Input to month end accrual process
  • Support the interface hand off from the Purchase Ordering system and the invoice matching system
  • Maintenance of accuracy of Master Data within the Purchasing systems including updates as and when required
  • Support new supplier set up process

Requirements:

  • Good team player – flexible and adaptable to multi-tasks
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • A good sense of relationship and strong interpersonal qualities (to be able to manage the relationship with different cultures within units)

  • Portuguese C1 and English level B2
  • Essential: Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Desirable: Experience of working for a large and complex organisation - Shared Service Centre environment
  • Good knowledge of P2P or Procurement processes acquired in an international company
