Job Description:

The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is responsible for contributing to applications systems analysis and programming activities. The role requires expertise in SQL with Tableau and includes tasks such as system enhancement, issue analysis, debugging, scripting, compliance, and Agile methodology.

Job Responsibility:

Identify and define necessary system enhancements
Analyze issues, make recommendations, and implement solutions
Conduct testing and debugging
Write basic code for design specifications
Develop working knowledge of Citi’s information systems, procedures, standards, application development, and database administration
Assess risks when business decisions are made
Drive compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and policies
Extend support in release timing during weekends
Upskill in new techstack/skills for project needs.

Requirements:

Very advanced level skills and very good working knowledge in SQL with Tableau (BI Visualization)
Capable of performance tuning on SQL and L3 Support Role for data-related concerns and reporting server issues
Good knowledge in developing tableau dashboards and reports
Experience on Databases like Netezza(NPS), Teradata, Oracle, Bigdata Hadoop, Unix Script
Experience on SDLC Deployment Cycle and Agile Methodology
Working knowledge of DEV Ops Tools (e.g., Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins)
Willingness to support release timing during weekends and to upskill in new techstack/skills
2-4 years of relevant experience as Tableau Developer with strong SQL query writing skills
Knowledge of Basic/Advanced SQL in any Databases
Tableau BI Visualization tool experience
Database knowledge on Netezza(NPS), Teradata, Oracle, Bigdata Hadoop, Unix Script
Experience in programming/debugging used in business applications
Working knowledge of industry practice and standards
Comprehensive knowledge of specific business area for application development
Working knowledge of program languages
SQL/Tableau Certifications (preferred).
