Job Description

We are currently seeking a Tableau Next Lead Developer to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. We are looking for an experienced Tableau Next Lead Developer with 7+ years of BI, analytics, and data visualization experience, including deep expertise in Tableau, Tableau Next, and modern analytics ecosystems. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on development capability, and the ability to guide teams in delivering high-impact insights.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced Tableau Next dashboards, visualizations, and analytics applications
  • Architect scalable, high-performance BI solutions aligned with business and data strategy
  • Implement advanced features such as LOD expressions, dynamic parameters, extensions, embedded analytics, and predictive insights
  • Work closely with data engineering teams to design optimized data models, semantic layers, and governed datasets
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across large and complex datasets
  • Drive best practices for data blending, joins, calculations, and performance tuning
  • Lead a team of Tableau developers and analysts, providing technical mentorship, code reviews, and solution guidance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Manage project timelines, delivery quality, and stakeholder communication
  • Drive the adoption of Tableau Next capabilities, modern BI practices, and self-service analytics
  • Introduce innovative solutions such as AI-driven insights, automation, and advanced analytics integrations
  • Establish and enforce BI governance, visualization standards, and design best practices

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in BI, analytics, and data visualization
  • 5+ years of hands-on Tableau development, including Tableau Next or advanced Tableau features
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and working with large datasets
  • Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Proven experience leading BI/analytics teams or projects
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with senior stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Experience with Python/R for advanced analytics
  • Knowledge of AI/ML-driven analytics, predictive modeling, or embedded analytics
  • Familiarity with Tableau Prep, Alteryx, or other data preparation tools
  • Experience integrating Tableau with enterprise applications and APIs
