Job Description:

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for leading application systems analysis and programming activities, specifically building scalable, efficient, and high-quality solutions using Tableau for the Market Risk team.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Tableau
manage a small team of Tableau developers
develop interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports
collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
optimize Tableau performance by fine-tuning queries, data extracts, and dashboard designs
perform unit testing and troubleshooting
provide technical guidance to Tableau developers and end-users
stay up-to-date with Tableau best practices, new features, and industry trends
drive the vision for reporting and analytics capability
coordinate user acceptance testing and issue resolution
ensure adherence to all Citi Risk and Control requirements
prioritize requirements and manage prioritization processes

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 to 13 years of experience in relevant fields
proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online
strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices
working hands-on knowledge of SQL fundamentals, SQL queries, SQL joins, and relational databases
experience in data modeling, data extraction, and performance tuning
basic understanding of CICD pipelines
strong understanding of data architecture and reporting platform architecture requirements
knowledge of Agile methodology and experience managing large-scale projects using Agile
ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
strong communications skills, including tact, diplomacy, and the ability to influence senior-level executives
strategic thinking around data modeling
knowledge of financial domain, risk, and specifically market risk is an added advantage

Nice to have:

experience with stakeholders at different levels
excellent organizational and project management skills
