Job Description:

Citi is looking for a Tableau Report Developer to manage the lifecycle of Tableau analytics dashboards, including requirements gathering, functional specification write-ups, prototyping, development, quality testing, user acceptance testing, deployments, and post-launch enhancements. The role involves designing and implementing processes and standards for report development, creating dashboards, and supporting various teams within the organization.

Job Responsibility:

develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics dashboards, and other BI solutions
design and develop solutions using Tableau dashboards (Web & Mobile) using Oracle/Sybase/Big Data as backend technologies
deliver analytics initiatives to address business problems with the ability to identify data required, assess time and effort required, and establish a project plan
perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design
mine and analyze data from various banking platforms to drive optimization and improve data quality
fine tune SQL queries for maximum efficiency and performance
conduct unit tests and develop database queries to analyze defects and troubleshoot issues
review and improve existing systems by collaborating with various teams and integrate new systems as required
manage Tableau Server and Administration on Linux Server including Tableau server upgrade/installation
manage Tableau content deployments end-to-end using automated solutions
find the key areas of automation to make the business processes smooth

Requirements:

5-8 years of experience in enterprise BI development, preferably from a consulting background
solid hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep
thorough knowledge of Tableau administration and architecture
knowledge and hands-on experience with TabPy and Tableau Data Management, Lineage, Tableau API tools
experience in writing complex SQL, stored procedures, and SQL query tuning
clear understanding of query plan management
experience with Starburst is highly preferred
hands-on experience in relational database management application development
strong experience in data mart/data warehouse design
experience in timeseries or NoSQL databases is highly preferred
experience in managing and implementing multiple projects simultaneously
working knowledge of project management techniques/methods
ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes
strong analytical and communication skills

Nice to have:

analytics using Big Data, Python or R
strong, proven programming skills in R, Python, Java, MATLAB, C++, or Scala
experience with API platform
5+ years of experience in finance, risk, and regulatory reporting
strong knowledge of credit risk concepts
