Job Description

Design, development, test, implement and support of business software applications for facilitation of business processes and the analysis of business data. Responsible for development, testing, and timely delivery of requested business system software enhancements, reports, and custom applications.

Job Responsibility

  • Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations
  • Design and development of customizations and enhancements to the Infor Syteline ERP system, and external applications interfacing to ERP system, according to business requirements
  • Creation of automated reports and business intelligence solutions to facilitate business data analysis
  • Interact with end users to gather and refine requirements for business software solutions
  • Provide clear, complete and detailed documentation of developed software solutions
  • Perform thorough testing of software solutions before deployment to Production systems
  • Troubleshooting and debugging of issues with business software applications
  • Document test results for unit, component, system and release testing for projects prior to end user acceptance testing. Participate in end user acceptance testing meeting
  • Develop an implementation plan that describes the physical installation of the software in the production system as well as the training requirements and responsibilities required for the implementation
  • Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program
  • Participate in implementation of ERP System upgrades
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (IT) from a four year college or university
  • one to two years related experience and/or training
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in object-oriented software design/development, specifically .NET development
  • Experience with Infor Syteline/CSI version 10
  • Experience with extension classes and form personalization
  • Familiarity with Infor Syteline ERP development tool set
  • Intermediate skills in MS SQL Server database design/development and performance analysis
  • Advanced skills in logical analysis, ability to devise effective solutions based on less than precise specifications
  • Ability to understand business processes in detail and apply that understanding to meet requirements of software development projects
