Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist to lead quality assurance efforts for large-scale, high-volume online data collection applications. This role is critical for enterprise-level systems serving a vast network of internal and external end users. The ideal candidate brings a robust background in Data Warehouse/BI testing, Accessibility (AODA) compliance, and Test Automation within complex 3/N-tier web environments. You will work across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to ensure the integrity of policy, financial, and program data reporting at scale.

Job Responsibility

  • Advise on testing plans, tool selection, and resource allocation for GUI and non-GUI environments
  • Analyze and test data warehouses, data marts, and ETL processes using tools like Informatica, Cognos, and Power BI
  • Execute full WCAG AA compliance testing using screen readers such as JAWS and NVDA, ensuring all web applications meet legal and usability standards
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using UFT/Quick Test Pro, Selenium, or Postman, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
  • Utilize advanced SQL scripting to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across Oracle and SQL Server databases
  • Lead execution of functional, integration, and user acceptance testing cycles, ensuring systems behave as expected under high traffic conditions
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using Azure DevOps, JIRA, or HP Quality Center (HPQC)

Requirements

  • Extensive experience testing large-scale online data collection applications for a massive, multi-area user base
  • Proficiency in UFT, HPQC, and Azure DevOps. Experience with Informatica and Cognos/Power BI for data validation
  • Proven experience with WCAG AA compliance and screen reader testing (JAWS/NVDA)
  • Strong understanding of 3/N-tier web applications, .NET framework, ASP.NET, and MVC
  • Database Expertise: Expert-level SQL for profiling data within XML, CSV, JSON, and Excel files
  • Demonstrated experience in both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall environments
