Job Responsibility:

Maintain and manage a comprehensive suite of multi-vendor z/OS software products
Leverage a wide array of z/OS products and utilities to drive efficiency and innovation
Develop and deploy cutting-edge best practice solutions
Provide expert support for intricate technical and operational challenges
Produce comprehensive control evidence for various audit inquiries
Engage with vendors to strategically plan and implement z/OS system upgrades
Work effectively within Change and Problem Management frameworks
Lead the development and execution of robust continuity and recovery plans
Participate in an on-call rotation

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in large-scale Mainframe computing environments
7+ years of experience with z/OS software lifecycle management
5+ years of experience with IBM Systems Automation and NetView deployment and customization
5+ years of experience in deploying and customizing Mainframe security products

Nice to have:

Strong understanding of database optimization and performance tuning
Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers
A strong strategic mindset with the ability to align IT initiatives with overarching business goals
Deep knowledge of disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing within IBM environments
Strong experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and third-party software integration
