The System Specialist 5 supports LAN/WAN and help desk activities, network maintenance, technical guidance, and security tasks in alignment with Citi's Technology Infrastructure team.
Job Responsibility:
assist in the resolution of relatively complex end user problems
operate, monitor, troubleshoot and restore console systems and equipment
schedule production runs, perform system backup process and disaster recovery tests
assist in conducting user acceptance testing
identify ways to improve effectiveness
ensure that all phases of technology assistance are coordinated, monitored, logged, tracked, and resolved appropriately
regularly exchange relatively complex information with team and provide informal technical training
assess the applicability of similar experiences and evaluate options
assess risk when business decisions are made and demonstrate compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
