Job Responsibility

Operates, maintains, inspects, and repairs various building and utility systems, including high-pressure steam boilers, central chillers, heat recovery chillers, heat pump boilers, and cooling towers, BAS electronic, electrical, and pneumatic control systems, and pumps

Requirements

  • Understanding of regulatory controls and requirements of NEC, NFPA, AQMD, OSHA, and Joint Commission Standards
  • Position is subject to the California DMV's 'Pull Notice System' and continued employment is contingent upon proof of a satisfactory driving record
  • Must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license
  • Must be available to work alternate work schedules and overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Experience in demolishing existing and/or installing new systems or components
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to use tools of the trade
  • Ability to install, repair and perform general maintenance on all gas piping
  • Ability to handle the physical workload and perform physical labor for extended periods of time
  • Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
