Job Description:

Systems Operations Engineer with primary responsibility for driving production stability across the organization through strong incident and problem management routines, implementation of robust observability/monitoring, strong incident resolution background and employing SRE principles.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in complex technical issues and initiatives
Identify opportunity for process improvements
Review and analyze technical queries to extract data
Present recommendations for resolving complex technical queries
Analyze performance trends and recommend process improvements
Work as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and processes
Provide information related to supported system area

Requirements:

2+ years of Systems Engineering experience or equivalent
Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure
Observability experience with tools such as SPLUNK, AppDynamics, Grafana, Azure App Insights, ITRS
Ability to manage initiatives involving process improvements
Experience driving SRE practices (Site Reliability Engineering)
SQL/Oracle Experience
Experience supporting cloud applications
Experience with business resiliency planning and execution
Ability to quickly triage complex technical problems
