Job Description:

This role supports the development of advanced sensing, electronic systems, and decision-support technologies for complex environments. Areas of focus include signal processing, system modeling, algorithm development, and analysis of next-generation sensing and countermeasure systems. Key activities include concept development, systems analysis and architecture, algorithm design, hardware prototyping, and experimental testing with data analysis.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supports the development of advanced sensing, electronic systems, and decision-support technologies for complex environments
  • Areas of focus include signal processing, system modeling, algorithm development, and analysis of next-generation sensing and countermeasure systems
  • Key activities include concept development, systems analysis and architecture, algorithm design, hardware prototyping, and experimental testing with data analysis
  • Work across both small and large teams
  • Supports technical staff in developing and implementing new capabilities and innovations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in systems analysis and/or data analysis
  • Exposure to several of the following areas: Sensor systems engineering, Radar data analysis, Autonomy and machine learning, Statistical data analysis
  • Ability to evaluate new techniques and algorithms and assess their impact on system performance
  • Proficiency with MATLAB
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work both independently and in team environments
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present technical results clearly
  • Active Secret clearance required

Nice to have:

  • Experience with radar systems analysis
  • Programming experience with C/C++ and familiarity with Linux environments
  • Experience with Python
  • Willingness to support field experiments and data collection (up to ~5% travel)
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Operations research experience
  • Radar data processing

  • GUI development experience
  • Linux OS and scripting experience
